Have you ever wanted to go on a sailing adventure down the Australian Coast?

Our offshore yacht charter packages combine the excitement of offshore sailing with a bit of luxury afloat.

Here at SmartBoating we have 2 luxury catamarans available for offshore crewed yacht charter.

Catamarans are great for coastal sailing because there is a huge covered area upstairs where you are protected from the weather and yet you can still enjoy panoramic views.

Sailing catamarans are also beautifully stable and offer heaps of space for everyone to relax.

Our Sydney offshore package starts at the SmartBoating base at Bayview anchorage marina on Pittwater.

We generally set off around 9am and enjoy a relaxing sail up Pittwater before turning to starboard at Barrenjoey lighthouse and heading out onto the Tasman Sea.

From there it's around a 4 hour sail down to Sydney Harbour. On the way we pass some of the most beautiful coastline in the world. We generally enjoy morning tea while we're underway.

We often see Humpback Whales breaching as we make our way down the coast.

You can see the imposing North Head of Sydney harbour from miles away - and as you get closer you'll marvel at its vertical cliffs towering out of the ocean. Then you can feel like an explorer as you re-trace Captain Cook's steps and sail through the heads of Sydney Harbour.

Once inside the Harbour we usually stop in a quiet bay for some lunch and a swim if in the right season.

After lunch we sail down the Harbour and past the Sydney Opera House and under the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

We make sure we're anchored in a quiet spot to enjoy sunset drinks looking at your choice of Sydney skyline.

We serve you dinner on board and then you can spend a relaxing night at anchor listening to the gentle sound of water lapping on the hulls.

After a great breakfast on board the next morning we can explore Sydney Harbour some more before enjoying another offshore sailing trip back up to Pittwater.

The 2 day offshore yacht charter packages including all meals for up to 4 people costs $4000 for up to 4 people on the Lightwave 38 catamaran and $4500 on board our Seawind 1250 catamaran.

Or how about a one way day sail down to Sydney Harbour?

Set off early from Pittwater and you can be enjoy a fabulous sail down the coast and a late lunch at the Fish Markets in Darling Harbour or at the famous Doyles Restaurant at Watson's bay.

For a day sail our Catamarans can cater for your party of up to 8 people. The cost on the Lightwave is $2500 and on the Seawind 1250 $3000. Morning tea, coffee, snacks and water included.
