Smart Boating Yacht Charter Rates

Smartboating bareboat yacht charter rates are split into the Summer and Low season.

Rates are based around weekend and midweek use. You can make huge savings by taking a 5 day midweek or 7 day charter.

We also offer substantial savings for longer term charters.

Our charter rates include fuel, gas and insurance - the price you see is the price you pay.

For your yacht charter we provide wet weather jackets, bedding, pillows, blankets, bed linen, garbage bags, t-towels, cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils, pots and pans, wine glasses and drinking glasses. Platinum Fleet Yachts come with towels for showering but you'll still need beach towels if you plan to swim.

We also provide a rowing dinghy with oars as a tender (our larger Platinum Fleet Yachts also have an outboard), detailed maritime charts of the area and a copy of our Holiday Guide giving you great ideas for exploring our fabulous cruising area.

• Weekend rates include bonus half day on Friday from 12 noon, subject to availability
• You can book a skipper at $60 per hour (min 4 hours) or $450 full day (9am to 5pm)
• Security deposit at $2000 - Platinum Fleet and $1000 - Value Fleet
• 24 hour overnight charge = full day rate + 20% (ie: pick up 10am Day 1 / return 10am day 2)
• When booking a yacht charter of two or more days overnight charge does not apply
• PEAK Christmas period (16 Dec 11 to 02 Jan 12 and Easter Weekend (Good Friday to Easter Monday). Minimum 3 day booking. Weekend day rate applies to first three days then day 4 at 50% discount, day 5 at 70% discount and day 6 and thereafter at 80% discount - to a maximum 8 days
• Our Seawind 1000 and 1250 have increased capacity with a SmartBoating Skipper on board

1. To secure your yacht make a deposit of 20% of the charter fee (minimum $200). You can do this with a credit card (a service fee of 4% applies to all Amex transactions), direct deposit, cheque or cash


2. We will issue you a booking confirmation and your boarding details.


3. Your balance is due 7 days before your sailing yacht charter
